The ™ symbol indicates an unregistered trademark claim. It does not represent or imply federal trademark registration.

You may accurately identify L.R. Stahley and the titles of his works when discussing, reviewing, or linking to them. You may not use the marks or crest in a manner that falsely suggests endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or authorisation.

Except where permitted by law or expressly authorised in writing, the crest and other brand artwork may not be reproduced on merchandise, adapted into another logo, or used as the identifying branding of another business, publication, organisation, or website.

5. Permission for Official Study Guides

Churches, book clubs, and study groups may print copies of officially released L.R. Stahley study guides for their own group members without paying a permission fee, provided that:

• The guide is reproduced in full and without alteration.
• Each copy retains the author credit, copyright notice, Scripture acknowledgements, and other notices included in the original.
• Copies are supplied to group members free of charge.
• Distribution is limited to the group’s own study or discussion activities.
• No separate restriction accompanying the guide prohibits the proposed reproduction.

This permission does not include selling copies, charging a reproduction fee, editing or translating the guide, incorporating it into another publication, or uploading it to a website, shared digital repository, or social platform.

For digital distribution, please share a link to the official download page rather than uploading or circulating a separate copy of the file.

This permission applies to the study guide itself. It does not authorise copying the associated book or other materials beyond what is included in the officially released guide. Any separately identified third-party restrictions remain applicable.

6. Scripture Quotations

Scripture used by the website’s automated features, including the daily verse and Leo’s Bible quotations, is drawn from the World English Bible, Protestant Edition, which is in the public domain.

We do not claim copyright in the public-domain biblical text. Original commentary, illustrations, and other protected material presented alongside it remain subject to their own copyright status.

Scripture in authored books, reflections, and other editorial materials may come from different translations. The applicable translation is identified in the work or its accompanying acknowledgements. Rights in copyrighted translations belong to their respective rights holders.

Permission to reproduce our original writing does not independently grant permission to reproduce a third party’s copyrighted Bible translation beyond what that translation’s terms or applicable law allow. When reproducing authorised materials, retain the relevant Scripture acknowledgements.

Because automated responses can contain errors, verify Leo’s quotations against the identified Bible translation before reproducing or relying on them.

7. Book Excerpts and Publisher-Controlled Rights

Books written by L.R. Stahley may be subject to publishing agreements that assign or license particular rights to a publisher. Depending on the work and proposed use, permission may need to come from the publisher or another rights holder.

Please contact us before reproducing substantial book excerpts, complete chapters, or other protected passages outside an applicable legal exception. We will identify the appropriate permissions contact where necessary.

Permission to use an excerpt for one purpose does not automatically authorise its use in another edition, medium, language, or project.

8. Artwork, Merchandise Designs, and Promotional Materials

Original artwork, merchandise graphics, and brand materials may not be copied, traced, adapted, or reproduced for sale without the appropriate permission, except where applicable law permits the use.

Purchasing an item from The Collection gives you ownership of the physical item. It does not grant a licence to reproduce its design, create additional merchandise, or upload that design to a print-on-demand service.

Materials expressly supplied as a press kit, downloadable promotional resource, or event asset may be used under the conditions accompanying them. Their availability does not authorise unrelated commercial use or an implication of endorsement.

For book-cover images, author photographs, or event materials, contact us if the intended use is not covered by an express permission or applicable law.

9. Requesting Permission

• The exact passage, image, or other material you wish to use.
• A description of your project and its intended audience.

• Any proposed edits, translations, or adaptations.

We may approve a request, approve it subject to conditions, refer it to another rights holder, or decline it. Some uses may require a licence fee or separate written agreement.

Submitting a request does not grant permission, and silence does not constitute approval. Where permission is required, please obtain written authorisation before proceeding.

Any permission applies only to the material and use expressly approved. It does not imply endorsement of the project or transfer ownership of the underlying work.

10. Copyright Concerns

Please identify the original work, the allegedly infringing material and its location on the website, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to contact you. We may request additional information to evaluate the matter.

Please do not assume that material appearing on the website is owned by the site owner; some content is supplied by community members or other rights holders.

11. Retailer Links

Links to bookstores and other retailers are provided for convenience. They are not affiliate links, and we receive no referral payment when you use them.

L.R. Stahley may receive ordinary author royalties from sales of his books. Those royalties are separate from affiliate or referral compensation.

External retailers govern their own transactions, website content, and permissions. A link to a retailer does not grant permission to reproduce that retailer’s images, descriptions, or other materials.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to clarify permissions, reflect new materials, or address changes in rights arrangements. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.

A separate written permission or licence remains governed by its own terms. Updates to this policy do not override applicable law or retroactively invalidate a use properly completed under an earlier permission.
